Some few weeks ago, I posted a blog on the effects of cleaning your space called “Time to let go, a complete cleanse of the soul”. In today’s blog, I will share with you how to clean your energy on an even deeper level. There is a concept in Yoga which I absolutely LOOOVE and also live by even from before I started with yoga. I was kind of aiming for this concept before I knew about it, and so when I learned about it, it totally resonated with me. It is the concept of “Saucha” which means cleanliness.
I mean, with how society is right now with covid and all the restrictions, face masks and antibacs, how is it even possible to become more clean? And would that even be healthy? The concept of Saucha is not about antibacing your hands everytime you walk into a store, not hugging anyone or wearing face masks, but more about being clean on the inside. Saucha is about eating clean food (less processed foods), drinking water with lemon, having a clean and tidy space which I already mentioned, scrubbing the skin, using tongue scrapes (not as bad as it sounds), and cleaning your body is of course a part of it as well. Using natural soaps and shampoos without synthetic chemicals. It is about being clean on both the inside and the outside. And in addition to this, it is about cleaning your energy. Cleaning the energy is a bit more abstract concept to many people, so I will share with you some tips. Your energy includes your aura (energy field around your body), your thoughts, the energy inside your body, and also there is energy in your living space that needs to be cleared from time to time. To become more aware of your own energy, try my guided relaxation.

There are tons of different objects, tools and techniques you can use to clear the energy in your body and living space. Here are some of them: crystals, plants. running water fountains, salt scrub for your skin or a loofa sponge, essential oil sprays especially with citruses, smudging, shaking, dancing, yoga with emphasis on synchronising breath and movement, using sound: crystal bowls or tibetan singing bowls, chanting mantras, meditating to create space in the mind and so on. The absolute best one of all is swimming in the ocean. Try out some of them that you feel drawn to and see which ones you like.
To me, being proactive about living according to the concept of Saucha creates sooo much wellbeing for me. I lived by this when I decorated my new apartment. I live by this when I decide what to eat and what cleaning detergents to buy. I also clear my energy space on a regular basis. I hope this inspires you too to live more healthily and more naturally.
Thank you for reading my blog 🙂
